Jonathan Nalywaiko

Founder / Street Outreach Pastor

From a young age, Jonathan’s parents taught him the importance of serving others. From the streets on San Francisco, to the hills of Mexico, Jonathan has served those whom others might just pass over and not think about.

Jonathan’s Education includes:

Certificate in Biblical Studies from Covenant Bible College

Certificate in Human Services from Southwestern

Bachelor of Science in Human Services and Management from the University of Phoenix Sacramento

After serving in the Army as a Chaplain Assistant, Jonathan went into full time church ministry as a pastor. For ten years, he served in various roles from Associate Pastor to Youth Pastor. During this time he always made it part of his mission to continue to hit the streets and lead outreach projects.

In 2016, Jonathan worked at the Tacoma Rescue Mission as the Search and Rescue Director. He brought groups of people out to the streets twice a week to serve those in and around Tacoma. This is where he learned more about how people live on the streets and how he could serve and meet their needs.

In 2017 Jonathan was hired to be the Chaplain at Olympia Gospel Mission where he continued his service to those living on the streets. Jonathan always had a desire to create an organization that served those on the streets directly and strived to build relationships and provide ways for people to get off the streets when they were ready.

Victor

Board Member / Sonoma County Outreach

Victor grew up as one of five siblings in a poor area of Los Angeles and has always had a heart for serving. From building houses on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition to building in Mexico and Biloxi after the floods.

Victor has also raised his three kids to serve and see the homeless on the streets of San Francisco, Seattle and Olympia. He is a vital part of our team and we look forward to many years of service together.

Mike

Board member / City Campers Street Outreach

Mike’s background is in Sales/Management, marketing, risk analysis, mediation/de-escalation.

In 2016, he began volunteering with the Tacoma Rescue Mission working alongside Jonathan in their outreach program. The homeless community and the issues they face on a daily basis opened Mike’s eyes and heart.

In order to serve this community better and to further enhance his chosen passion, Mike’s undertaken a Mental Health First Aid course to better equip himself with some of the underlying root issues leading to homelessness.
